A3 board only - 400x305 mm (16x12") including covering transparent film. A3 board is popular among MTBO community when A3 size map is used. Closing of the film is done by DualLock scratches and manipulation with the map during the race is not expected. Just at the start you place the map under the film and at the finish you will take the map out. Your bars should have length 70 cm or more.
